How a G&E candle is made
Step 01 · 01/04
The pour.
A clean coconut-soy blend is heated to exactly 65°C, kissed with fragrance, and poured by hand into the vessel - slowly enough to settle the bubbles, quickly enough to keep the surface smooth.
Step 02 · 02/04
The wick.
A lead-free cotton wick is centred, set, and trimmed to 5mm - the heart of every candle, the keeper of an even, honest burn.
Step 03 · 03/04
The seal.
After 48 hours of curing, the gold-foil signature is applied by hand. Every label carries its pour date and the order in which it was made.
Step 04 · 04/04
The light.
And then, you. Strike a match, find an evening, let the flame settle in. This is the only step we leave to chance.

Every G&E candle is poured by hand in our kitchen in Ptolemaida - never in advance. We pour it the moment your payment clears, then test, rest and trim it before it leaves the studio. Let the first burn melt the surface edge-to-edge - this trains the candle to burn evenly forever after. Trim the wick to 5mm before each lighting.
